Kayncee is an independent Hip-Hop artist from Crawley, UK. A triple threat emcee, producer and DJ; sincee releasing his first song in 2013, he has gone on to found Go For It Records and perform around the country.

In 2017, Kayncee, C Driz & D Calibur collectively released 'The Prelude'. This was a collection of 3 individual EPs from the trio: Kayncee - 'The Warm Up', D Calibur - 'Things Happened' & C Driz - 'Wait On It'. 'Lost' received multiple airplay on BBC Introducing in late 2018.

 

2018 also saw Kayncee & C Driz release 48 Hours, the first in a series of concept albums in which all of the tracks were written, recorded and mixed within 2 days. The album also featured SUV, Samosa, D Calibur, Oscar Allagui & Mr Brown with production from Kayncee, IF-E, Kanon, Tick D & Ace the Impaler.

'72 Hours' followed in 2019, created in Guildford #terrysinthebath whilst Kayncee studied for his degree in music production. The album featured C Driz, Stu Brootal, Lil Nath, BP MC, RODSUIT, SUV, Pond, Ray Wills, JOK3R, Connor Quest, Ramzey, Mister.Smith, Samosa, Tommy Biz, Zelly One, Wrista, Ilona Mahieu, Meraki, Ze, Klassik & George Curnick. Everything on the album was written, produced, recorded & mixed in 3 days. 

December 2019 saw Kayncee release an EP with Lil Nath 'Step on the Scene' a 5 track project  produced by Kayncee featuring Sabz, Kurly, Titomi, Ze & Meraki. that earned the duo an invite to appoear in the BBC Introducing Live Lounge, having both previously performed there individually.

Kayncee & Munboi released their EP 'Seconds Don't Stand Still' in early 2020, a self produced 4 track project featuring BP MC, RODSUIT, Titomi, Ray Wills & Meraki. 

Thoughout his career, Kayncee has been performing around the country, supporting acts such as Das EFX, Lowkey, Benjamin Zephaniah, Mic Righteous, People's Army, Rodney P & The Scribes; playing at venues such as Brixton Jamm, Chalk, New Cross Inn & The Hawth.

Outside music, Kayncee has a passion for portraiture and often draws artists that inspire him. His drawings have brought him attention from the likes of Lowkey, R.A. the Rugged Man, Loyle Carner, MC Ren (of NWA), Akala, Watsky, A-F-R-O, Locksmith & Brother Ali.
